Healthcare That Starts With Listening

Good healthcare involves more than treating a symptom. It begins with understanding the person experiencing it.

Our physicians take time to review your concerns, explain relevant findings, and discuss reasonable options. Depending on your needs, care may involve treatment, preventive guidance, medication review, testing, follow-up, or referral to another healthcare professional.

We encourage patients to ask questions and participate in decisions about their care.

Our Approach to Patient Care

Patient-Centred

Your health history, priorities, preferences, and daily circumstances help shape your care plan.

Clear and Respectful

Our team aims to explain health concerns and care options in plain language so patients can make informed decisions.

Evidence-Informed

Our physicians use clinical assessment, professional judgment, and current medical guidance when discussing care options.

Focused on the Whole Person

When relevant, our physicians consider sleep, mental well-being, work, family responsibilities, lifestyle, and other circumstances.

Collaborative

When medically appropriate, a physician may coordinate testing, arrange follow-up, or refer you to another healthcare service.

No test, prescription, referral, treatment result, or recovery timeline can be guaranteed. Recommendations depend on each patient’s clinical needs.

What Patients Can Expect

Before Your Appointment

Clinic staff may ask for your contact information, date of birth, Alberta health card number, reason for the visit, and preferred appointment time. An online request does not automatically confirm an appointment.

During Your Visit

Your physician will review your main concern and relevant medical history. A focused examination may be recommended.

After Your Visit

Ask whether follow-up is required and how test results will be communicated. Do not assume that receiving no telephone call means a result is normal.

In-Person and Virtual Care

Some consultations and follow-up visits may be suitable for phone or video care. Other concerns require an in-person examination, measurement, test, or procedure.
