New Patients at Empathy Collaborative Health

Welcome to Empathy Collaborative Health. Our medical team provides patient-centred healthcare for individuals and families in southeast Calgary.

We are currently accepting new patients and walk-ins, subject to physician and appointment availability. Care is available in person and virtually when clinically appropriate.

Getting Started Is Simple

1. Contact the Clinic

Call 587-864-4152 or submit the online appointment request. If you are looking for a new family physician in southeast Calgary, contact our team to ask about registration and appointment options. Walk-in availability may vary by day and physician capacity, so please call before visiting.

2. Tell Us What You Need

Briefly explain the reason for your visit so our team can identify the appropriate appointment type, physician, or service.

3. Confirm Your Visit

An online submission is a request, not an automatic confirmation. Wait for the clinic to confirm your date, time, location, and appointment type.

Care Available at Empathy

New patients can ask about family medicine, women’s health, pain management, mental health, medical exams, skin health, virtual care, prescription follow-up, diabetes care, and other non-emergency primary-care needs.

Dr. Omolola Obadan is a family physician with additional postgraduate dermatology training and dermatology-focused GP experience. Dr. Soala Ogan provides family medicine including diabetes and chronic-disease care. Dr. Olu Ogundeji has a clinical interest in sleep health, and Dr. Ehi Obadan’s clinical interests include pain care and experience in emergency medicine.

Important: Physician availability and the services appropriate for your concern are confirmed by the clinic. Empathy Collaborative Health is not an emergency department.

What to Bring to Your First Appointment

Bring When Available

  • Alberta personal health card
  • Valid photo identification
  • Current medication, vitamin, and supplement list
  • Medication allergy information
  • Relevant records or test results requested by the clinic
  • Forms that need review or completion

Helpful Information

  • Your main symptoms or concern
  • Your pharmacy’s name and contact information
  • Questions you want to discuss
  • A method of payment for uninsured services, if applicable

Please do not stop or change medication before your appointment unless your prescribing healthcare professional has advised you to do so.

What to Expect at Your First Visit

Your physician will review the reason for your appointment and relevant symptoms. Depending on your concern, the visit may also include your medical history, medications, allergies, previous treatments, an examination, or recommended testing.

Next steps may include monitoring, treatment, medication review, testing, follow-up, or referral. Not every concern can always be fully assessed in one visit, and an appointment does not guarantee a prescription, test, medical form, referral, or particular outcome.

Transferring Medical Records

Contact Empathy Collaborative Health before requesting a transfer from a previous clinic. Our team can explain which records may be useful and whether consent or authorization is required. A record transfer does not by itself confirm attachment to a particular family physician.

In-Person & Virtual Appointments

Appointments are available in person, and some concerns may be suitable for phone or video care. An in-person visit may be required when an examination, measurement, test, identity verification, or procedure is needed.

The clinic or physician will determine whether virtual care is appropriate for your concern.

Accessibility & Parking

Our southeast Calgary location offers onsite parking and accessibility. If you require an accommodation or communication support, please tell the clinic before your appointment so the team can discuss available arrangements.
